Be the Calm in the Storm
Be the welcome on the shore
Be the candle in the window
Be the first open door

Be the song in the sorrow
Be the hope coming true
Be the courage in the chaos
Be the strength pulling through

Be the joy in the toil
Be the comfort in despair
Be the kind-hearted stranger
Be the answer to the prayer

Be the warmth in the winter
Be the shelter in the night
Be the peace in the nations
Be the light.  Be the light.

  1. Dear Deb…thank you for this beautiful imperative call to see unknown others as our selves, not strangers; to live with and in love in spite of violence, divisions and fears…with love, coco
